A Lifetime Of Music
Jeff Weinberger is on the faculty of Bay Chamber Music School in Camden, ME where he teaches guitar, ukulele, ukulele ensemble and conducts frequent workshops and group classes.
He is the director of Midcoast Ukes, a community group of musicians and singers based in Belfast, Maine, with participants from the entire Midcoast region of the state. They encourage players with all levels of skills and experience join them.
Jeff also teaches in his Maine studio, Belfast Guitar & Ukulele Workshop. Jeff studied music at Berklee College of Music and music education at the University of Maine (B.M. Summa Cum Laude). He is also a Teaching Artist with the Maine Arts Commission.
His current focus has been helping seniors enrich their lives with ukulele. His most notable student is astronaut Scott Tingle who was in outer space with NASA on the International Space Station. He has taught music for well over three decades and enjoys his life in a tiny, rural Midcoast Maine town with his wife, cats and gardens.
